Rowing boat on the river in the middle of the woods while looking snakes, crocodiles and all around. You might imagine that it can only be done in the Amazon River, Brazil. In fact, in Indonesia, there is also a place that is not less interesting adventure with Amazon.
Cigenter River is a river island located in the region handeuleum island. Handeuleum island itself was among a cluster of small islands located in the northeastern tip of Ujung Kulon peninsula coast. The island Handeuleum approximately 220 hectares. On this island there are species of deer (Rusa timorensis), and python. The island is surrounded by mangrove forests.
You can visit the handeuleum island using regular passenger boat with a capacity of up to 20 people. In the midst of the sea, our ship stopped, because the journey to Cigenter river island located in the region Handeuleum be done by using a canoe.
This canoe is called by the name of national park rangers Jukung. Any boats can only accommodate up to a maximum of five to seven people. If so, this small boat would capsize because many can not afford to bear the burden.
Of the Jukung are still docked ships at sea, has been seen Cigenter region that we will soon explore. It appears some mangroves and sand dunes. Surprisingly, the sea around cigenter muddy and dark, in contrast to the sea islands of the Park are other clear blue.
When I get off of boats in Cigenter, you will feel the feet on the sticky sand and mud weight. This mud crab lived many small and salamanders.
After you run roughly about 250 meters, you will arrive in Padang Grazing Cigenter to see a herd of wild bison. This pasture is a broad meadow as the place to eat the bull. Here you will see herds of bison that huddle, take stretch of prairie.
